Without hesitation, the SDRF jawan plunged into the turbulent waters of the Ganga and swam toward the struggling individual. Following a strenuous effort against the powerful current, the jawan managed to reach the young man and bring him safely back to the shore. "A Noida (UP) resident Shiva devotee began to be swept away in the swift current of the Ganga while bathing at Kangra Ghat in Haridwar. During this time, an #UttarakhandPolice SDRF jawan present there immediately jumped into the Ganga and, after strenuous efforts, safely rescued the young man," the Uttarakhand Police said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
