In Seoni Malwa, theĀ Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fielded Dinesh Rai (Mun Mun) against Congress candidate Mohan Singh Chandel. In 2013 polls, Independent candidate Dinesh Rai Munmun had won with 65402 votes.
In Keolari, theĀ Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fieldedĀ Rakesh Pal Singh againstĀ Congress candidate Rajneesh Harbansh Singh. In 2013 elections, Singh had won the seat with 72669 votes.
InĀ Lakhnadon (ST), theĀ Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fieldedĀ Vijay UikeĀ against Congress candidateĀ Yogendra Singh Baba. In 2013, Singh had won the seat withĀ 77928 votes.
InĀ GotegaonĀ (SC), theĀ Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fieldedĀ Kailash Jatav againstĀ Congress candidateĀ Narmada Prasad Prajapati. In 2013 polls,Ā Jatav had won the Gotegaon seat withĀ 74759 votes.
InĀ Narsingpur, theĀ Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fieldedĀ Jalim Singh Patel againstĀ Congress candidate Lakhan Singh Patel. In 2013,Ā Jalam Singh Patel Munna Bhaiya of the BJP had won the seat with 89921 votes.
InĀ Tendukheda,Ā theĀ Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has fieldedĀ Mulayam Singh Kourav against Congress candidateĀ Sanjay Sharma. In 2013 elections,Ā Sanjay Sharma of the BJP had won withĀ 81938 votes.
As many as 2,899 candidates, including 1,094 independents, are in the fray for the 230 seats, but the main contest is between the Congress and BJP.
