Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana are all set to join Maddock Supernatural Universe with their upcoming film, Thama. An announcement video for the film was released on Wednesday (October 30). The clip said that the Maddock Supernatural Universe needed a love story, but unfortunately, this will be a "bloody one". Thama was earlier titled Vampires of Vijaynagar and was teased during the mid-credit scene of Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's blockbuster film Stree 2, which also featured Varun Dhawan's cameo. Apart from Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana, the movie also features Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles. Thama joins popular horror-comedy films Stree (2018), Bhediya (2022), Munjya (2024) and Stree 2 (2024) in Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Supernatural Universe. ‘Stree 2’ OTT Release: Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Hit Film Now Streaming on Prime Video.
