The veterinary college in Parel has been tasked with conducting a post-mortem on the five dead flamingo birds.
Five flamingo birds were discovered dead on the premises of DPS Lake in Seawood in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, on Thursday, April 26, 2024. This comes days after one flamingo was killed by a speeding car close to the lake. A person on the morning walk reportedly saw the dead flamingos and notified the authorities. At the location, a total of twelve flamingos were discovered. Six are being treated at our centre after being rescued, while five passed away.
