Parenting brand Frida has teamed up with OddFellows Ice Cream to create a breast milk ice cream flavour to celebrate Frida's new 2-in-1 Manual Breast Pump on National Breastfeeding Month 2025 in the US. Over time, Frida’s breast milk flavoured ice cream has raised eyebrows online. But does the latest product really contain breast milk? Well, the formula mimics the taste and benefits of real breast milk, incorporating different ingredients. The new flavour does not actually have any breast milk in it. Frida’s breast milk ice cream is made with standard ice cream ingredients – milk, heavy cream, skim milk powder, egg yolks and sugar. But it also has honey, fruit juice and liposomal bovine colostrum. While the version in Frida’s Oddfellows breast milk ice cream is from cows, colostrum is also present in human breast milk. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it is high in nutrients and antibodies.
