The Irfan Khan-led Pakistan Shaheens side continued its unbeaten run in the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 tournament and now is just one win away from the continental title. Earlier, Bangladesh A stunned India A in a Super Over to qualify for the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 final.
Pakistan Shaheens defeated Sri Lanka A by a narrow margin of 5 runs to enter the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 final, at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha on Friday, November 21. With this victory in the second semi-final, Irfan Khan and co will now take on Bangladesh A in the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 final on November 23. Batting first, Pakistan Shaheens scored 153/9 with Ghazi Ghori being the top-scorer (39). Maaz Sadaqat (23), Ahmed Daniyal (22) and Saad Masood (22) also made contributions. For Sri Lanka A, Pramod Madushan picked four wickets (4/29) and Travenn Matthew scalped three (3/22). In response, Sri Lanka's middle-order flopped big time. Saad Masood (3/18) and Sufiyan Muqeem (3/12) were best bowlers for Pakistan Shaheens. For Sri Lanka A Milan Rathnayake was the top-scorer (40).
