Usama Mir managed to take a catch to dismiss Saud Shakeel despite being involved in a collision with Haider Ali during the Panthers vs Dolphins match in Pakistan Champions Cup 2024 on September 14. Shakeel, the Dolphins captain, attempted a hook shot on the leg side off Mohammad Hasnain's bowling but did not make the connection he would have wanted to. Instead, the ball went high in the air with both Usama Mir and Haider Ali positioning themselves to take the catch. However, they did not notice each other and ended up colliding as Usama Mir completed the catch. Haider Ali was knocked down to the field as a result of the collision but later got up and celebrated the dismissal along with the others.
