Egyptian winger Ahmed Refaat, playing for Modern Future FC collapsed on the field in March. The match was halted with medics taking care of the player. He was sent to the hospital and later he was discharged a month after a pacemaker was inserted in him. Sadly, the player couldn’t survive and passed away on Saturday, July 6. He played 7 times for the national team and scored two goals. He was also a member of the Egypt side that won the African U-20 Championship in 2013.
