As we move forward in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, rain is having its say in the tournament. Thus far, three matches have been already washed-out- the most in any World Cup. And the weather forecast for some upcoming games is not great as well. As per some reports, the Indian team missed its practice session in Nottingham due to bad weather as it continued to rain on Tuesday. On Wednesday, the rain eased somewhat but the clouds were significantly present over Nottingham.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) earlier tweeted a picture from the Trent Bridge and it appeared very gloomy. Both India and New Zealand are unbeaten in the CWC 2019 thus far. While New Zealand have played three matches thus far, India, on the other hand, have played two. Kiwis have registered wins against Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh while India defeated South Africa and Australia.
