India and Bangladesh will be contesting in Dubai for the Asia Cup 2018. After defeating Pakistan and having the game tied with Afghanistan, India is all set to clash with the Bangla Tigers for the Asian championship. In 2016, India had a similar fate and they played against Bangladesh to lift the Asia Cup 2016 in the T20 format. So far India has been undefeated the tournament and would not want to be complacent. Especially because they defeated Pakistan by 37 run in the final match of the Super Four. Mashrafe Mortaza's team outplayed Pakistan in every aspect of the game. Not to forget the fielding standards of the team were also quite jaw-dropping.

Right before the finals, came a bad news for Bangladesh as Shakib Al Hasan has gone back home owing to an injury. This could rpove to be a massive blow to the team. India on the other hand, are on an 11-match unbeaten streak in the Asia Cup. However, the final match of the Super Four between India and Afghanistan went down the live wire and the India were tested as the match ended with a tie. India and Bangladesh have played 34 ODI matches out of which India won 28.
