Indian pair of Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary clinched a gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed team event at the ISSF Shooting World Cup, which is underway at Beijing in China. The young Indian pair emerged victorious against China’s Jiang Ranxin and Pang Wei with a scoreline of 16-6. This is not the first time the pair has secured a gold medal at the ISSF World Cup as earlier this year in February in the event held at New Delhi, Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary walked away with all the honours in the same category.

Meanwhile, Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary’s gold is India’s second at the ongoing edition, earlier, in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event, Anjum Moudgil and Divyansh Singh Panwar bagged a gold medal as well. They too defeated a Chinese pair.

Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary finished fifth with 482 points in the qualification round while their compatriots Heena Sidhu and Rizvi Shahzar ended on the 12th spot.

In the summit clash against the chines pair of Jiang Ranxin and Pang Wei, The Indian pair started on an impressive note and secured the 12-0 lead at the end of sixth round. The Chinese pair then made a comeback to win three rounds. However, the Indian pair eventually emerged victorious with a 16-6 scoreline.
