Bengaluru, March 31: Realme is gearing up to expand its mid-range smartphone lineup in India with the upcoming Realme 16 5G, set to launch on April 2. According to reports, the Realme 16 5G will be available in three configurations. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is expected to be priced at INR 31,999. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model may cost INR 33,999, while the top-end 12GB RAM and 256GB variant could be priced at INR 36,999. In terms of performance, the device is likely to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset, built on a 6nm process, paired with Android 16 and Realme UI 7. The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 4,200 nits.
For photography, the Realme 16 5G may include a 50MP Sony IMX852 rear camera along with a 50MP front camera.
