The incident took place at around 6:30 pm near Court Street in Madeley. Police said officers received a call at around 6:37 pm and arrested the suspect within 10 minutes.
On Camera: Sikh Bus Driver Assaulted
Footage from the incident shows the accused allegedly pulling the Sikh driver's beard and banging his head against the driver's head, reports said. The accused allegedly continued to assault the driver and damaged parts of the bus before forcing him out of the vehicle and taking control of it.

West Mercia Police said the bus was then driven along Park Way towards the High Street on the wrong side of the road, colliding with multiple vehicles.
The bus driver was treated for minor injuries. Police said no one else was injured in the incident.
Yemeni National Arrested in Telford

West Mercia Police said armed officers also responded from Malinsgate Police Station. The investigation remains ongoing, with police appealing for witnesses and footage from dashcams, CCTV, mobile phones and doorbell cameras.
Charges Against Ali Balhad
According to West Mercia Police, Balhad has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking, assault, attempted grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving, robbery, theft from a store, threats to kill and three counts of criminal damage.
Police said Balhad had been in the Telford area for around a week. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Telford Magistrates' Court on Monday, September 21.
