On June 8, US Army Pacific Command’s General Charles A Flynn termed China’s infrastructure development along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) as ‘alarming’ & ‘eye-opening’, reported The Indian Express. On June 9, India said it is continuously monitoring the situation. India said it has taken many measures to improve infrastructure on its own side as well. Bagchi said, “India carefully monitors developments along our border areas, including construction of infrastructure by the Chinese side in the Western Sector, as well as that being undertaken further in depth areas.” Watch the video to know more.
