Uber Driver Falls Asleep While On Wheels, Forces Woman Passenger To Drive On Way To Mumbai From Pune

In a surprising incident, a 28-year-old woman was forced to take the wheel of an Uber cab as the driver was falling asleep while driving. The incident took place on February 21 when the woman was travelling from Pune to Mumbai. Tejaswini Divya Naik booked the Uber ride from Pune to Andheri, her home in Mumbai around 1 pm. "Initially, the driver was constantly on the phone and I told him not to use the phone while driving. After he put the phone down, he started falling asleep” Tejaswini Divya Naik told PTI. Naik alleged that at one point the driver almost hit another car and a divider. Just half an hour before reaching the destination, the driver took over his duties.
