1 Killed, 9 Injured in Firing Along LoC: Pak Army

The Pakistan Army on Tuesday claimed that "unprovoked firing" allegedly by Indian forces along the Line of Control killed a civilian and injured nine others, including women and children.

Islamabad, Jul 30 (PTI) The Pakistan Army on Tuesday claimed that "unprovoked firing" allegedly by Indian forces along the Line of Control killed a civilian and injured nine others, including women and children.

The firing of "mortars and artillery guns deliberately targeted civil population" in Danna, Dhddnial, Jura, Lipa, Sharda and Shahkot Sectors, it said.

A 26-year-old man was killed while 9 others, including women and children were injured, it added.

The injured were shifted to hospitals.

It said Pakistani troops responded effectively targeting posts involved in the firing across the LoC.
