The Bharathiar University College near here was today indefinitely closed due to continued protests by students demanding action against those responsible for the death of a student who allegedly committed suicide.
Erode, Aug 29 (PTI) The Bharathiar University College near here was today indefinitely closed due to continued protests by students demanding action against those responsible for the death of a student who allegedly committed suicide.
College officials said the college was being closed indefinitely as the situation in the campus was not conducive for taking classes with the students continuing their protest.
The student, Dineshkumar allegedly committed suicide on August 23.
