Ghaziabad, Jun 16 (PTI) Police have arrested a gang of eight thieves involved in stealing iron bars in Kavi Nagar Police Station area here.

The scrap dealers, truck drivers and other helpers who were involved in the crime were also nabbed, the police said.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna, a case was already registered against driver Pushpraj Patel, helper Shiva and Suraj by an iron merchant of Loha Mandi.   

The police also seized two trucks of stolen scrap and iron bars.
