California [USA], May 23 (ANI): It turns out, the controversial Google Duplex technology, which allows bots to call restaurants and make reservations on the user's behalf, does not thoroughly rely on artificial intelligence to mimic humans.Google revealed that about 25 per cent of calls placed through its free Duplex service started with a human. About 15 per cent of the ones that began with an automated system had a human intervene at some point, The New York Times reported.Google said that Duplex relies on humans because it still needs a lot of data for training and eliminating humans could make the experience worse for business owners.
