Hulkenberg Welcomes Ricciardo's Inclusion in Renault
Renault team member Nico Hulkenberg has welcomed the signing of former Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo in the team.
London [UK], August 6 (ANI): Renault team member Nico Hulkenberg has welcomed the signing of former Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo in the team.
Taking to Twitter, Hulkenberg posted a welcoming message for his new team-mate and hoped to see him perform well in the coming future.
"Welcome to the family Brooo..Looking forward to go hunting together next year! ?? @danielricciardo #F1 #RSspirit," he wrote.
The German racer further said that Ricciardo's inclusion in the team shows how serious he is about attacking the rival teams.
"It shows how serious Renault is about attacking Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull," Sports24 quoted Hulkenberg, as saying.
Earlier this month, Ricciardo had shocked the Formulae One racing world by announcing his departure from Red Bull, thus ending his five-year long association with the team. He has won a total of seven races for the team. (ANI)
