Mangaluru (Karnataka) [India], September 12 (ANI): The Customs department officers at the Mangaluru International Airport on Tuesday seized 242 grams of gold powder from a passenger. 

The gold powder seized was valued at approximately Rs 14.50 lakh, officials said.

According to information, the illicit substance was ingeniously concealed between the two layers of four blue-colored carbon-thick paper sheets inside a carton box. 

"Further investigation is in progress," they added.
