Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 20 (ANI): The Adityanavth Yogi government is gearing up to promote Uttar Pradesh (UP) as a brand and a favourable tourist destination in the Tourism Expo to be organized from November 6 to 9 at the World Travel Market in London, said a press release by the CMO on Friday.
The Yogi government has prepared a detailed action under which the Tourism Department will set up a pavilion in an area of 52 square meters at the Tourism Expo in London, said the official statement.

An agency will also be appointed by the Tourism Department for the establishment and efficient operation of this pavilion, added the official release.
The press release further informed that an e-bidding process was started through the e-tender portal on October 17 to select the agency that will be given the responsibility of running the program smoothly and the interested agencies can apply till October 26.
As per the intention of CM Yogi, the Tourism Department is giving maximum focus on promoting spiritual and historical heritage sites of UP in the Tourism Expo and the theme of the pavilion set up in Uttar Pradesh will be inspired by these parameters, said the official statement.
The official release also mentioned that the Tourism Department of UP will display brochures and booklets related to all of the state's heritage and famous tourist destinations at the Expo.
According to the official release, UP's geographical, spiritual, and historical heritage will be presented in the pavilion, while highlighting the positive changes that have occurred in the state during Yogi's government, particularly in terms of industry, economy, law and order, good governance, standard of living, infrastructure growth, and ease of doing business.
The Tourism Department has invited applications from agencies to participate in the e-tendering process for the setting up of the pavilion in the Tourism Expo.
For this e-tender, a tender fee of 5,000 rupees and an 18 per cent Goods and Services Tax (GST) have been specified and an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 2 lakh has been set, said the official statement.
All the tendering procedures will be carried out as per the regulations of the Tourism Department and the rulebook of the Uttar Pradesh Government, added the statement.
Additionally, the agency awarded the work will be responsible for the design, fabrication, setup, installation, and dismantling of this pavilion.
As per the press release, the agency will also have to fulfill various tasks related to the pavilion, including setting up a VVIP lounge, coffee vending machines, LED display screens, glass showcases, meeting tables, light beams, power sockets, LED lights, needle punch carpet, dustbins, chairs selection, and a seating area of 45 square meters.
