Bengaluru, Jun 30 (PTI) Ace dragflicker Rupinder Pal Singh scored a hat-trick as the Indian men's hockey 'A' team thrashed Bangladesh 6-0 in the second practice match here today.

Rupinder, who is rested for the ongoing Champions Trophy, was in top form as he scored of penalty corners in the 33th, 35th and 55th minutes that gave a sublime edge to the winning team.

India 'A' team's opening goal was scored by striker Akashdeep Singh (18th) who was also rested for the ongoing tournament in Breda. Midfield Kothajit Singh scored the second goal in the 23rd minute while Nilakanta Sharma (51st) was the other goal scorer for India.

The India 'A' team featured a combination of players from the Core Group of 48 players who continued to remain in the National Camp after the 18 selected members for the Champions Trophy left for the event on June 19.
