Kishanganj Gang-rape: 4 out of 6 Accused Held
The Police on Friday arrested four accused in Kishanganj gang-rape case, where a 19-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by six men in front of her father.
Kishanganj (Bihar) [India], Feb 8 (ANI): The Police on Friday arrested four accused in Kishanganj gang-rape case, where a 19-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by six men in front of her father.Two accused are still absconding. “We have arrested 4 accused in the case. The remaining two will be arrested soon. We are gathering scientific evidence and we will push for the speedy trail of the case so that the victim gets justice at earliest,” said Kumar Ashish , SP, Kishanganj. “I would like to tell that the victim and the accused are all from the same community,” he added.According to the information, six men forcibly entered their house and nabbed the woman and her father to a deserted place near their residence. They tied the father with a rope, and took turns to rape the woman in front of him. (ANI)
