Amazon India on Tuesday said it has onboarded 12 aspiring entrepreneurs as part of its Delivery Service Partner (DSP) programme across Telangana, Karnataka, Delhi-NCR, and Maharashtra, to strengthen its last-mile network, ahead of the festive season.
Mumbai, Oct 10 (PTI) Amazon India on Tuesday said it has onboarded 12 aspiring entrepreneurs as part of its Delivery Service Partner (DSP) programme across Telangana, Karnataka, Delhi-NCR, and Maharashtra, to strengthen its last-mile network, ahead of the festive season.
The programme enables aspiring entrepreneurs, even with little to no logistics experience, to develop and launch their own delivery businesses, and provide work opportunities to thousands of delivery associates, it said.
The company said with this programme it has partnered with close to 300 small and mid-sized businesses to deliver packages to its customers.

German auto parts maker Schaeffler India on Tuesday announced the launch of its mobile training centre for the Commercial Vehicle (CV) segment.
The company launched its first mobile training centre, which runs on a van, in October 2019.
This initiative, which focuses on the CV segment, aims to impart advanced technical training on transmission, and chassis systems, and rapidly evolving automotive applications, the company said.
