New Delhi, Oct 12 (PTI) IT solutions company Mphasis has been named as the Digital Consulting Partner of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, the company said on Thursday.
ICC will be leveraging the Bengaluru-headquartered company to deliver digital experiences for cricket fans around the world, Mphasis said in a statement.
ICC's website and app will adopt virtual reality and web3 to reach newer audiences.
CEO and MD of Mphasis Nitin Rakesh said, "This partnership underscores our commitment to the sport -term intent to drive the future of cricket technology.

IIoT startup Proxgy raises Rs 16 cr from various investors
* Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) startup Proxgy has raised USD 2 million (about Rs 16 crores) from a clutch of investors, the company said Thursday.
LetsVenture, Planify Angel Fund, Mach Tech Fund, Cogniphy Angel Fund, Madhuram Papers Family Office, AKGVG & Associates among others participated in the round. The funding was structured as a blend of primary and secondary fund infusions.
The raised funds will be deployed for Proxgy's Industrial IoT infrastructure, capex requirements for new product development, R&D, investment in SaaS scalability, and operational capacities.
Proxgy founder and CEO Pulkit Ahuja said the fresh funding equips the company with enough dry powder to drive innovation and sustain operations for the next 2 years.
