Amethi (UP), Jul 10 (PTI) Two men were killed on Thursday after a speeding car rammed into their motorcycle on the Ayodhya-Raebareli Highway in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi, police said.

The incident occurred near the Alaipur village, killing both men on the spot.

The deceased have been identified as Akashdeep Raidas (23) and Sarvesh Kanojia (25), residents of the Astha Dampur village, Fatehpur, police said.

Station House Officer (SHO) of Mohanganj, Rakesh Kumar, said the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The car has been seized, and further investigation is underway.
