New Delhi, Jun 28 (PTI) A shopkeeper was arrested for allegedly selling smoking material to juveniles in east Delhi's Ghazipur area on Friday, police said.

The accused has been identified as Champalal, a resident of Rajbir colony here, they said.

According to police, a lady lodged a complaint with Ghazipur Police Station, stating her son had taken Rs 1,000 from her wallet.

When she checked his bags, she found two suspicious electronic gadgets which were used in e-cigarettes, police said.

The juvenile used the machines for smoking which he bought from Champalal who runs a stationery shop in Rajbir Colony, a senior police officer said.

He also said Champalal told him how to use that gadgets and took Rs 380 for each, they added. PTI NIT

Two suspected members of Ravi Gangwar's gang held in south Delhi

New Delhi, Jun 28 (PTI) Two alleged members of Ravi Gangwar's gang have been arrested from south Delhi, police said Friday.

The arrested have been identified as Manish (30) and Manoj (27), they said.

Manish and Manoj were arrested on Wednesday evening while they were going towards Mehrauli, police said.

Interrogation revealed that Manish was in jail since February 2019. During that period, a scuffle took place between Manish and one Duddy, they said.

When Manish was released from jail, he decided to eliminate a family member of Duddy to take revenge, police said, adding that two pistols, two magazines, four live cartridges and one bike were recovered from them.
