Pak Envoy to India Calls on PM Mulk, Briefs Him on Indo-Pak Ties

Pakistan's High Commissioner to India Sohail Mahmood has called on country's interim Prime Minister Justice (Retired) Nasir-ul-Mulk and briefed him on all aspects of Pakistan-India relations in Islamabad.

Islamabad [Pakistan], July 11 (ANI): Pakistan's High Commissioner to India Sohail Mahmood has called on country's interim Prime Minister Justice (Retired) Nasir-ul-Mulk and briefed him on all aspects of Pakistan-India relations in Islamabad.

"The caretaker prime minister underscored Pakistan's commitment to peaceful and good-neighbourly relations with India on the basis of mutual respect and sovereign equality," a statement from Pakistan's Prime Minister's Office (PMO), read.

Mulk also stressed the importance of sustained engagement and peaceful resolution of all outstanding issues between India and Pakistan, including the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, for durable peace and stability in South Asia.

Pakistan's Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua was also present during the meeting. (ANI)
