Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], Feb 22 (ANI): Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawarchand Gehlot on Friday said that his department has provided all the facilities to the persons with intellectual disabilities.Union Minister Gehlot was as a chief guest in Annual Day Celebrations and inaugurated SRC building at National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (Divyangjan).Speaking at the event, he said: “Today a new SRC building has been started which was built with a budget of four crores rupees. In the last four and a half years in our department, we have got six world records.”“We have provided all the facilities and budget needed to the persons with intellectual disabilities. We will also provide the other facility to the institutions like National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, if they needed,” the Union Minister said.“Today, the specially-abled persons also received beneficiary from us. I hope their future will be bright,” he added. (ANI)
