Dumka (Jharkhand), Jul 2 (PTI) Two persons were killed in lightning strikes in separate places in Jharkhand's Dumka district today, police said.

The incidents happened under the jurisdiction of Shikaripara police station, the police said.

A 25-year-old man was killed in Latbedha village after lightning struck him while he was fishing in a pond, the Officer-in-Charge of the police station, Manoj Kumar Thakur, said.

In another incident, a 55-year-old man was killed in Bhalpahari village while he was grazing cattle, he added. PTI
