Mumbai, June 22: Skoda Auto India has officially opened bookings for the new Kodiaq RS today, marking the arrival of the brand's first performance-oriented SUV in the Indian market. Interested customers can now reserve one of the 50 units earmarked for the initial batch by paying a token amount of INR 3 lakh through the company's official online sales platform.

This high-performance variant adopts a more aggressive design language compared to the standard Kodiaq, featuring redesigned bumpers, gloss-black exterior detailing, larger alloy wheels, and a twin-exit exhaust system. Skoda Kodiaq RS Specifications and Features

The Skoda Kodiaq RS is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine that produces 261 bhp and 400 Nm of torque, an increase of 60 bhp and 80 Nm over the standard model. This engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system as standard. The SUV is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kmph in 6.3 seconds, with a top speed of 231 kmph. Performance is further enhanced by Dynamic Chassis Control Plus with adjustable drive modes, progressive steering, and Dynamic Sound Boost.
