New Delhi, September 17: In a shocking incident, a mentally depressed woman was allegedly gang-raped by two men at a bus stop in the national capital on Sunday. According to a tweet by ANI, the woman was sexually assaulted at a bus-stop in Sunlight Colony area in Delhi by two men who approached her on the pretext of providing food. Swami Chinmayanand 'Rape' Case: Evidence Submitted Before SIT in 'Pen Drive', Claims UP Student.

A similar incident was reported from the national capital last week. A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two men on a vacant plot near ESI Hospital in West Delhi's Moti Nagar. According to a report by PTI, the accused, identified as Ravi (25) and Ankit (24), residents of Basaidarapur, was arrested. The incident came to light after security supervisor of the ESI Hospital informed police and said the woman was left alone near the hospital.

A case has been registered against them under relevant sections of the IPC and section 6 of POCSO Act. Reports inform that the accused approached her on the pretext of a job. Police informed that the accused took her to the isolated spot and raped her.

Earlier this month, a 25-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped in front of her husband in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha district. The brutal incident took place when the couple were returning home at night when the assailants attacked them and dragged the woman in a nearby field.
