Mumbai Shocker: Woman Kills NRI Daughter-in-Law With Metal Vase to Seek Revenge For Taking Her Son to USA After Marriage

Mumbai, December 22: In a shocking incident in the city, an elderly woman with blood-stained hands entered Manickpur police station and admitted to killing her NRI daughter-in-law with a metal vase, when she was fast asleep. According to a Times of India report, the Vasai resident disliked her daughter-in-law and blamed her for taking her son away to the USA.

The accused didn't like her bahu's nursing profession and her name either and forced her to change it. The accused was booked for murder and police found that she had consumed several sleeping pills the earlier night. A probe is taking place in order to find if the accused had any plans of committing suicide after murdering her daughter-in-law. When police entered the room, a bloodstained vase was found and her six-month-old daughter was fast asleep beside her mother. Her son had a love marriage around five years back and soon after their marriage, they shifted to USA. The crime took place when her son and husband were away for their morning walk. The deceased's body has been sent for post-mortem.
