The two had reportedly been in a relationship for approximately one year. According to preliminary police findings, Prerana invited Kiran to her residence in Anjanapura while her family members were away. Investigators allege that after a brief conversation, she blindfolded Kiran and tied his limbs to a chair, telling him she was preparing a "foreign-style proposal."
