Veteran Korean theatre actor Yoon Seok-hwa passed away at the age of 69 after a long battle with a brain tumour. According to members of the theatre community, she breathed her last at 9:54 AM on the December 19th at Sinchon Severance Hospital in Seoul, surrounded by her family and close friends. Yoon was diagnosed with the illness in 2022, just months after attending a public rehearsal of the play Hamlet. She underwent major surgery later that year but chose not to pursue anticancer treatment. Instead, she opted for natural therapy and strict dietary care.
