In Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, a violent clash erupted between two BJP office bearers and their families over a disputed INR 6.5 lakh loan, resulting in four injuries. The altercation took place on Friday night when Kuldeep Bhardwaj, the BJP Baghpat unit vice-president, claimed his brother Titu was attacked while demanding repayment from BJP local unit secretary, Satpal Upadhyaya. Both parties filed FIRs at the Kotwali police station, accusing each other of initiating the violence. Upadhyaya alleged that his wife and nephew were assaulted by Titu's group with bricks and batons, while Bhardwaj claimed Upadhyaya’s family attacked Titu. Police are investigating, and no arrests have been made. Injured parties have been hospitalised, and security has been increased to maintain peace.
