A shocking incident has come to the fore from Amreli, Gujarat wherein a woman was thrashed mercilessly for marrying a second time after the death of her husband. The woman was dragged on the road, tied to a pillar, and beaten by her former in-laws. They did not stop at just beating, the former in-laws also chopped the woman's hair. The woman's husband passed away two years ago. After his death, she got married to another man recently.
