HD Revanna, the Karnataka JD(S) MLA, has been taken into custody by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) officials on Saturday, May 4, 2024. The latter has been detained in connection with a kidnapping case registered against him at KR Nagar police station in Bengaluru. The SIT is also investigating charges of rape against him and his son Prajwal Revanna related to the Hassan sex scandal case. Further details are awaited.
