Berhampur (Odisha), Aug 23 (PTI) Police today arrested at least 10 persons engaged in gambling at a house near Ananta Nagara area under Baidyanath Pur police station limits here.

The police also seized over Rs 4.06 lakh, five motorbikes and 11 mobile phones from the arrested persons, Berhampur SDPO Prabhat Kumar Routray said.

The raid was conducted there following a tip off.

The gambling was going on there for the past several days and the people of the area had complained about it.

Most of the arrested persons are businessmen in the town, police said.
