Hollywood actor Anthony Anderson has denied claims of allegedly assaulting a woman.
Washington DC, [USA] July 22 (ANI): Hollywood actor Anthony Anderson has denied claims of allegedly assaulting a woman.
According to E! Online, the woman in question claimed that the 'Romeo Must Die' actor assaulted her at a business meeting.
Being inspired by the #MeToo movement, the woman later decided to file a complaint.
Currently, a police investigation is underway as Anderson is listed as a suspect.
Anderson's spokesperson in a statement said, "It's unfortunate that anyone can file a police report whether it is true or false. The authorities have not contacted Anthony or any of his representatives about this matter. Anthony unequivocally disputes the claim."
The allegation come days after the actor was nominated for an Emmy award for Outstanding Lead actor in a comedy series. (ANI)
