Five girls drowned in an open well in Jogulamba Gadwal district of Telangana, police said Monday.
Hyderabad, Apr 8 (PTI) Five girls drowned in an open well in Jogulamba Gadwal district of Telangana, police said Monday.
The bodies have been recovered.
The incident came to light only in the evening when the family members searched for the girls in the age group of 6-11 when they did not return home, a senior police official said.
It seems after one of them started drowning the other girls may have tried to save her and drowned in the process, the official said based on preliminary information.
