Gangtok, Nov 7 (PTI) Sikkim's COVID-19 tally rose to 4,195 as 51 new cases were reported in the last 24-hours, while one more fatality pushed the death toll to 76, an official said on Saturday.

The state Information Education and Communication (IEC) member Sonam Bhutia said that East Sikkim district reported 45 cases, West Sikkim (3), South Sikkim (2) and North Sikkim (1).

Sikkim now has 314 active cases, while 3,721 patients have recovered from the disease and 84 others have migrated to other states, Bhutia said,

An 87-year-old woman died due to COVID-19 infection pushing the death toll to 76, he said.

Sikkim has tested a total of 57,963 samples for COVID-19 so far, including 293 samples in the last 24 hours, he added.
