Nagarkurnool (Telangana) [India], October 10 (ANI): An 8-year-old deceased leopard was found dead in the Amaragiri forest area of Kolhapur in Nagarkurnool district.

According to Chandra Shekhar, Forest range officer Kolhapur, "A deceased leopard was found yesterday in the Amaragiri forest area of Kolhapur. The leopard, approximately eight years old and fully grown, is believed to have died three days ago. We have shifted to the Post-Mortem Examination (PME) center, and reports are awaited."
Meanwhile, a leopard was captured in a cage setup by the forest department on Wednesday night in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh.
The leopard is suspected of killing two children in separate incidents in the district on Saturday, said Sanjay Bishwal, DFO South Forest Division Lakhimpur Kheri. (ANI)
