New Delhi, Oct 18 (PTI) The coal ministry on Wednesday said it has disposed of 5,041 physical files so far.

The campaign has so far freed up about 5,93,915 sq ft office space, and the disposal of scrap materials has resulted in revenue of Rs 18.08 crore, the coal ministry said in a statement.

Further, over 10,459 e-files have also been closed, it said.

A cleanliness drive has been carried out at 287 sites against the target of 795 across the country.
