Jaipur, Nov 7 (PTI) Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Saturday expressed confidence that the Congress will win the upcoming zila parishad and panchayat samiti elections in 21 districts of the state.

Congress workers and leaders have been working for it and we feel that people will vote for the party once again, he said.

On the Gurjar agitation in the state, the former deputy chief minister said, "I think the solution of all problems can be found in a peaceful manner and no one should have any doubt about the things that we have said. The government and others are working and will find a solution in a peaceful manner."

About the panel set up by the Congress to address the issues raised by him and the legislators who backed him following a rebellion by him against Chief Minister Ashik Gehlot earlier this year, Pilot said the steps to be taken will be known at the right time.

Today, the objective is how can we strengthen the party because the elections are very important and all are engaged in it, he said.

Referring to the Bills passed by the state government to counter the Centre's farms laws, Pilot said, "The three laws passed by our government in the interest of farmers have again created a confidence in people that the state government and the Congress are a farmer-friendly party."

He said they will oppose every anti-farmer move of the BJP.
