Jaipur, Jul 14 (PTI) Rajasthan Pradesh Congress chief Sachin Pilot today slammed the state government for suspending mobile Internet services for a police constable recruitment exam and claimed that the failure to conduct the examination in a proper manner resulted in the move.

He claimed it showed the mirror to the BJP which publicised the slogan of 'Digital India'.

“The BJP government was not able to conduct the exam in a proper manner and to identify those who facilitate cheating in the exam and so the decision to suspend Internet services was taken,” he said in a statement here.

“The government should have installed jammers at the exam centres and made proper arrangements to check cheating instead of deciding to suspend Internet,” he said.

Mobile internet services in the state were blocked today from 8 am to 5 pm in view of the exam.

The exam was conducted in two shifts today and as many shifts will be held tomorrow as well. Mobile Internet services will remain suspended tomorrow also for the same time.
