New Delhi, May 8 (PTI) Two policemen were suspended today for allegedly beating up an MCD sweeper for not cleaning a police booth in southeast Delhi's Sarita Vihar, police said.

As many 35 to 40 sweepers assembled at the Sarita Vihar police station and demanded action against the police personnel who had allegedly thrashed their co-worker, they said.

Subsequently, head constable Sanjay and constable Amit were suspended, police added. SLB KJ
