The Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK) has released its recruitment notification inviting the candidates to apply for the posts of lecturers and teachers. Aspirants who wish to appear for this exam must fill in the application form by February 21 at dsek.nic.in. The total number of vacancies are 2601 out of which, openings for the position of teachers are 1590 and for lecturers are 1011. It is important to note that no application form will be selected after the last date of the submission. The examination fee is Rs 100. Candidates will be selected on the basis of educational qualification.

Interested candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in education (B.Ed) or master’s degree in education (M.Ed) from a recognized University or Institute. For the position of teachers, applicants will be selected on the basis of their educational qualification. On the other hand, for the position of lecturers, the selection will be done based on candidate’s performance in the screening test, MPhil, PhD, National Eligibility Test (NET)/Sate Eligibility Test (SET) and teaching experience.

1. Visit the official website dsek.nic.in.

2. Candidates will be directed to a web portal.

3. A link to the application form is provided on the website.

4. Aspirants are required to fill in the required details in the application form.

5. Other relevant documents are also required to submit in concern to the Chief Education Officer.

Once the aspirants are selected, they will be engaged in a training session for a period of 60 days. Candidates who are interested in the available vacancies are recommended to read the official notification carefully before beginning with the application process.
