Chandigarh, June 26: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday announced the decision to bear expenses of up to Rs 5 lakh annually on the treatment of a Loktantra Senanis. Along with this, he also announced the state government would bear the cost of Loktantra Senani's spouse for treatment in private or government hospitals.
Addressing the Loktantra Senanis from across the state at the state-level Loktantra Senani Samman Samaroh, Khattar in Chandigarh said that term ‘Emergency Victim’ on the identity cards of Loktantra Senanis will be replaced with ‘Loktantra Senani.’ Ram Rahim to be Granted Parole? The BJP-led state government mentioned that they were providing a monthly pension of Rs 10,000 to Loktantra Senanis. These Senanis were the ones who went to jail during the Satyagraha Movement in Emergency. He also informed that they were Senanis were being provided free bus travel facility.
